THROUGH HUMANITARIAN AID
The First Aid Tablet (FAT) is a rugged, disaster-grade emergency tablet designed to operate when everything else fails.
It is purpose-built for harsh, off-grid and disaster conditions, remaining fully operational during floods, bushfires, cyclones, heatwaves and prolonged power outages.
Even when the internet, power grid and telecommunications are down, FAT continues to function through:
This ensures life-saving information, coordination and guidance remain available to:
FAT is not dependent on cloud access — critical intelligence lives on the device itself.
The second layer is the FAT App — a scalable software platform that extends FAT’s capabilities to personal smartphones and tablets.
While the rugged tablet is designed for worst-case scenarios, the app enables:
When networks are available, the app connects to:
When networks fail, the app degrades gracefully, retaining:
Most emergency systems assume connectivity. FAT is designed for the inevitable moment when that assumption fails.
This dual-layer approach ensures no single point of failure in Australia’s emergency information and first-aid capability.

Armed conflict, prolonged violence, and natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, hurricanes) have severe, well-documented effects on mental and physical health. These crises lead to high rates of PTSD, depression, and anxiety, exacerbated by disrupted healthcare systems, displacement, and the destruction of infrastructure. In natural disasters, survivors often face acute trauma, grief, and resource scarcity, compounding existing vulnerabilities in conflict-affected regions.
To address these challenges, our strategy implements scalable, evidence-based mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) programs in low-resource, conflict-affected, and disaster-prone areas. Key components include:
By addressing the intersection of conflict, disasters, and health, we aim to mitigate suffering while fostering sustainable recovery.

The First Aid Tablet—a digital health innovation designed to deliver emergency medical guidance—aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) in impactful ways: SDG 3, 9, 10 & 17.

At humanitarian summits, I noticed a major gap: crisis zones often lack effective, offline-ready solutions. This inspired me to create the FAT (First Aid Tablet)—a tool designed to save lives, even without connectivity.
Already, the FAT has gained global recognition, with invites from the UN and governments to showcase its potential. One agency even called it “the most powerful tool in humanitarian aid.”
My goal? To ensure anyone, anywhere can access life-saving resources—anytime, offline. By bridging the gap between tech and accessibility, we can revolutionize crisis response and leave no one behind.

"We equip people in crisis—and the world—with life-saving digital tools. From pandemics to disasters to conflict, we provide smart preparedness tech and real-time strategies to help communities not just survive, but thrive. Our goal: A future where no one is left unprepared."

"We aim to have our life-saving tablets reach all people in all crisis zones through expert volunteers. Their skills and dedication help us navigate complex challenges and deliver aid safely. We’re grateful for their commitment—and welcome more professionals to join our mission. Together, we make a real difference."
"Climate chaos, pollution, and conflict reveal how fragile our world is. This isn’t just about saving ecosystems—it’s about saving ourselves. The time to act is now.
FAT stands for unity. We believe in action that bridges divides—because pandemics, disasters, and war are all connected. Our mission: Empower people with solutions, turn crisis into resilience, and fight for a future where people and planet come first.
The stakes? Everything. Let’s move together—before it’s too late."
